Belated Birthday Pictures

It's Been A While....

I have been so busy walking around, I have not kept up my correspondence on here. Yes, correspondence is a big word. I have been learning new words almost every day. I say "that" a lot. I also say "outside", "tree", "dog", "ball" and some more I can't think of right now.

Mommy and daddy think it's funny when they're putting my socks on I help by lifting my feet up for them. The other day mommy asked me to go get my shoes while she got hers. I went in my room and found them and brought them to her. And she made a big deal out of it. I keep surprising her with what I know. It's fun.

I have a new face I like to make. Mommy and daddy think it's really cute, so i'll probably keep doing it for awhile. Here are some pictures:

First Tooth - FINALLY!!!

So, Parker and i went to a consignment sale with a friend and her son (who is exactly one week older than Parker - it's his birthday today actually) on Thursday, February 5. Poor Parker had not napped well that day and then i forced him to be up past his bedtime at this sale. So, when we got home, Zac was changing him into his pajamas and starting yelling, "Parker's gotta toot, Parker's gotta toot!" So, i'm thinking, 'why is he making such a big deal out of him farting'? So i come upstairs, and i ask Zac, "What?" "Parker's got a tooth!" he said. Oh, someone needs their hearing checked.
We were so excited. 11 1/2 months for that first tooth to finally appear. And it was one we weren't expecting to come through. It's the one left of the front top middle tooth. So, that's big news for us. It would be way too hard to get a picture of it, so i apologize for the lack of documentation here.

Christmas 2008

I had to post all these pictures because Parker is just so cute.

This is Christmas morning at our house. As you can see, we didn't wrap his gifts. Parker got a potty, a step stool, and a fun chair. He didn't seem all that interested in these.

Inside the box, though, were some fun trucks, which he was interested in.

He enjoyed chewing on the construction sign.

We also went to FL to visit my parents and grandma, where Parker got some very fun toys. We really enjoyed our time down there. Parker showed off his walking skills with a walker toy. My sister, bro-in-law and their baby, David, were there also. The boys got to play together, which was fun to watch as they are both getting older and able to do more. We even braved Disney World, which went surprisingly well considering Parker ended up with only about a 40 minute nap all day. Both boys were exceptionally well-behaved and seemed to enjoy the rides and the sights. We forgot our camera, so we have no pictures to post.
