Picture with Santa

So, mommy and daddy took me to see this weird man they call Santa. Now, I had never met this man before (i think i would remember); and they just handed me over to him and walked away. You would've had the same reaction as I did, i'm sure. So this was the picture (you can click on it to see it larger):

Kissy Face

I have a new facial expression i would like to share with you all. Mommy calls it my kissy face. I only do it when i'm eating, though.

This one screams future blackmail picture.

First Haircut

Well, i had my first haircut on Monday. And now everyone says i look like a big boy.

My First Christmas Tree

Here we are at the Christmas Tree lot.

Daddy! How embarassing.

And here it is in our house. It's a little big. Mommy says we usually get small ones, but this year there was only one small one and it was kinda pitiful. So, now, our little ornaments look a little dwarfed, if you can even see them.

Miscellaneous happenings

Ha, Ha, Ha. This book is so funny!

Hey there, Miss Rani!

Where'd she go?

My Pop got me an apple from his tree.

But I don't have any teeth, so, I couldn't even eat it.

I'm sick. I've been sick a lot the past month. I'm getting a little "sick" of it, if you know what i mean. Just when i seem to be getting better, it starts all over again.

I look like Where's Waldo kind of in this hat, but Mommy thinks it's adorable. And it was only $1 at Old Navy.

Do you like my cool shoes? Mommy only paid $3.74 for them (and they're new).

Mommy, enough pictures already. I do not feel good.

"okay"

So, this weekend, i surprised mommy and daddy with my ever-increasing vocabulary. Mommy was telling me her plans and i responded, "Okay". Then Daddy was talking to me and i said, "okay" two times. They thought it was great; they couldn't stop laughing. Since then they've been saying "okay" a lot, but i'm milking it and making them wait to hear it again.

Last week i climbed one of the stairs, and then on Saturday, i climbed up five in a row. Pretty impressive, i think, because mommy and daddy tried taking pictures.

Not a great picture, but you get the idea.

Lots of new things!

So, 2 days after I learned to pull up, I started crawling. And i have not stopped since. I can go all over the house now. And mommy just follows me. I've been hearing the words, "no, sir" a lot lately and am still trying to figure out exactly what that means.

Mommy and Daddy went to a Halloween party and dressed up like pirates. They are so silly. Mommy got a haircut and changed her haircolor. I almost didn't recognize her when she did it.

This past weekend i started standing up. I fall after a few seconds, but am working on my stamina and muscle control.

My Aunt Jaime and cousin David visited this past weekend. I was much more able to stand my ground and not get trampled over this time. I'm getting so much bigger and stronger, and catching up to my big cousin.

Also, in this next picture, you'll see i am beginning to master the art of the sippy cup.

Pulling up

So, this morning, I learned something new. Here's some pictures mommy took:

Now, just so we're clear - mommy did not help me get into this position. I kind of crawled (I haven't quite mastered that yet) over to this basket and pulled myself up and then stood there and moved along the furniture. If you can't tell, I'm pretty proud of myself. Mommy was making a big deal about it too.

I got pretty excited because I moved along the furniture.

This was me last week; I was starting to learn how to pull up then. Very, very sneaky!

Fall

Mommy and Daddy took me to Col. Cobb's Corn Maze on Sunday with our friends, the Rowans.

Here's Daddy and me in the corn maze. We got a little "cornfused" and it took us a while to figure out how to get out, but we made it.

This is Daddy and me on the hay ride. "Tractor, tractor, harvesting the wheat....." (we sang that song from my favorite CD during the ride).

They had some animals; I got pretty excited about these roosters.

This is my friend, Lily. This was our silly face pose.

Pictures

Look at this cute face; kinda pitiful.

I decided to see how a mohawk would look on him. Parker decided to make a face at me.

Parker is trying to crawl, but this is the result more often than not.

Parker and cousin David playing in NC.

This is a little scary in the picture, but it's really funny in "real life". Parker scrunches up his nose and breathes funny out of his mouth. It's hysterical!

Mastering new things

So, i've hit some pretty big milestones the past few weeks. Mommy has been feeding me different color foods - I have had green beans, squash, sweet potatoes, and carrots. Since mommy has been showing me fun colors, I thought i would show her some too - in my diaper. He he. :)

About 2 weeks ago, I finally started mastering the art of sitting up. I'm getting pretty good at it, if I do say so myself.

This past weekend mommy and I went to NC to visit my Uncle Lanny, Aunt Jaime, and cousin David. We had a lot of fun. I had a record-breaking nap time of 3 1/2 hours! That David sure wore me out. He kept trying to step on me, but I'm a tough boy.

My great-great grandmother who was 101 1/2 years old passed away on Monday. I went to her funeral today and boy did i look snazzy (?). Everyone told me how cute I am. I really can't help it, you know.

Here's a picture of us together on Mother's Day. She sure was a sweet lady.
This picture is 5 generations - me, daddy, Pop, MawMaw, & Grandmama Flowers.
